August 4, 2009 Board Meeting Agenda Item #20 Title TEXCELLENCE PROGRAM SUPPORT Description This contract is for the continuation of project management duties with the District Technology Program, "Texcellence".  The program is funded through a partnership with The Education Foundation.  Its purpose is to equip high needs students with a home computer.  The program also includes training and education software for both parents and students.  The program is coordinated and supervised by the Office of Information Technology. Recommendation It is recommended that the contract for Alina Klein, Project Manager, for $47,250.00 be approved by the Board.
